The truth is, the journey behind this business was built through years of pain, anxiety, depression, stress and survival mode. There were periods where life felt unbearably heavy. I experienced moments where my body physically reacted to the pressure I was carrying. I went through terrifying health scares, including findings of what doctors initially feared could be a brain tumour, which thankfully later turned out to be calcified.

There was also a period where half of my upper body became numb for three entire months. Half of my face, head, neck and arm lost sensation. Alongside that came exhaustion, stiffness, body pain and overwhelming fatigue. It was one of the hardest and scariest periods of my life.

But even through all of that… I kept going.

I never stopped.
I never allowed pain, fear or challenges to take over the vision I was building.
Because in my mind, quitting was never an option when it came to creating the best possible life for my daughter.

Personal development has now become part of who I am. I genuinely cannot imagine living a life without learning, growing and evolving anymore. From studying business, networking, investing into marketing and social media courses, reading books and endlessly researching ways to improve, the business has transformed into something incredibly exciting that reflects not only my ambition, but also my resilience.

But success for me was never only about money.

Success meant freedom.
Success meant rebuilding my confidence after years of pain.
Success meant proving to myself that my past did not define my future.
Success meant creating something my daughter could look at one day and genuinely feel proud of.
And success meant becoming the kind of woman my parents would have been proud of too.

The journey has not been easy. There were moments of fear, exhaustion, tears, uncertainty and emotional breakdowns behind closed doors that nobody saw. But no matter what life placed in front of me, I continued showing up. I continued believing. I continued building.

Today, when people look at SimplyBuzzyBees, they may see a growing luxury brand built on high standards, professionalism and attention to detail. But behind that brand is years of sacrifice, healing, resilience, survival, isolation, letting go of people and old versions of myself, continuous personal growth and refusing to give up on a dream that once felt impossible.

I built this business while rebuilding myself at the same time. And I continue reinventing both myself and the business year after year. I have entered a space of clarity, confidence and creativity that I truly love.

And honestly… this still feels like only the beginning.
